Attorney Anthony Kirkland has been practicing law for 43 years. Earlier in his career, he ventured into a myriad of practice areas, but over time discovered that he received the greatest personal and professional satisfaction in working closely with families and seniors in the areas of elder law, estate planning, Probate and estate administration. Mr. Kirkland now focuses entirely on these areas of the law.

Mr. Kirkland earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in Atlanta. Mr. Kirkland is licensed to practice in the Superior, State and Probate Courts of the state of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States Federal District Court, and the United States Claims Court.

Mr. Kirkland is a member of the leading professional organizations in his practice areas, including Cobb Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). He is also a former member of Wealth Counsel and the National Association of Estate Planning Attorneys.

Mr. Kirkland has been happily married to his wife, Margaret, for 53 years. Together, they have two children and ten grandchildren. They reside in Marietta, and attend Riverstone, a Wesleyan Fellowship Church in Kennesaw.
